Helen is an accomplished curling coach with certifications as an NCCP trained Competition Coach and Club Coach. Having attended a prestigious High-Performance Curling Camp twice and having competed internationally, her expertise in the sport is vast. Helen's enthusiasm for curling is palpable, as she finds joy in introducing newcomers to the sport while reigniting the passion of seasoned players.
In her current roles, Helen serves as the Curling Ontario’s Instructor’s Team Lead for the GTA, contributes as one of the Ontario Curling Council Facilitators, and takes on the responsibility of coordinating the Oakville Curling Club’s Instructors Team. These positions underscore her leadership and dedication within the curling community.
With a keen eye for detail and a knack for instruction, Helen excels in identifying and correcting nuances in players' techniques. Whether working with novices or elite athletes, Helen's coaching can elevate any curler's performance.
Her lesson rates are as follows:
Individual Private Lessons:
- $50 for a 30-minute session (includes video analysis)
- $80 for a 60-minute session
Group Lessons (2-4 people):
- $50 per person for a one-hour session
